Palmerstown Credit Union
Big thanks also to our local Credit Union in Palmerstown who have always backed us positively in our efforts to get the best resources for our pupils and staff, all of which benefits the school community and Chapelizod as a whole!
For the 2023-2024 school year, they have very kindly sponsored our new school sports kits - jerseys, socks and shorts - while also sponsoring our athletics bibs - the first set the school has EVER had!!!

The Jersey
In the design, we wanted to give nods to a few things. We have kept the school's historical maroon colour (which also represents Galway and Westmeath, of course....!!). The blue is to represent the great city of Dublin where the school is located. And on the back neck area, we have a Phoenix, representing our school mascot which Lola (6th Class 2024) designed last year
We have to point out that the jerseys were made by the amazing guys at KC Sports and funded ENTIRELY by the AMAZING people at Palmerstown Credit Union who, once again, continue to give our school unbelievable support. Without them, we would not have the resources we do!!!!!
Moving On Up!
Big congratulations to Lakshay from the Palmerstown CU who has moved to be part of the Irish League of Credit Unions (ILCU)! We were, as a result, involved in the promotion for the ILCU Quiz 2024 when some of our pupils had a professional photoshoot in the school!
