Cake Sale

Cake Sale - April 26th 2024

On Friday we had our Cake Sale. It was a fantastic day. Lots of people helped to make it a wonderful day. Mammys, Daddys, Grandparents and teachers were in the hall to sell the cakes and raffle tickets. Everyone did a great job! We could not have managed without them. We also welcome aboard the new parents and hope they enjoyed their first experience. Thank you to the boys and girls and parents who baked, there is so much talent out there. Sixth class were very busy during the day. They helped the junior infants to choose their cakes and buy raffle tickets. They were very patient and made it an enjoyable day for them. So well done to you! Everyone in the school made fantastic cakes, buns, sweets and lollipops. There were rice krispie buns and scones, cream buns. There were pastries, sponges, meringues, cakes and delicious rocky road- so many lovely things to choose……! Everyone had a nice treat for lunch that day.

A special word of thanks to the staff in the school. Every staff member without exception, contributed to the cake sale. Everyone baked or got their family members to bake. Some sourced raffle prizes from all over the country! But all gave generously and freely of their time and talents. This is very much appreciated. Our raffle took place in the afternoon and prizes were given out to the lucky winners. Some of the prizes were donated by parents and staff and we thank you for your thoughtful gifts. The following organisations sponsored us and we acknowledge their generosity also

Wrights- The Anglers Rest, Park Lane Deli, Twirly Gate Café, Baa Baas, Springfield Hotel Leixlip, Spar Chapelizod & Glossed Castleknock.

P.S. Please remember these organisations when you shop.

There was a great atmosphere in St. Patrick’s; it was a fun day day, we raised over 2,400 euro for our school, so thank you for your contribution.
