Senior Infants Power Through Literacy!

Senior Infants recently took part in a highly successful Power Hour Literacy programme and impressed everyone with their enthusiasm, teamwork, and engagement.

With the support of our dedicated SET team and wonderful senior buddies, the children rotated through a variety of literacy stations, exploring all aspects of literacy development. Activities included oral language, reading, writing, independent learning tasks, and digital literacy, providing pupils with a fun and interactive learning experience.

The station-based approach allowed every child to actively participate, develop key literacy skills, and build confidence in a supportive and engaging environment.

A huge well done to all of our Senior Infants for their excellent effort and positive attitude throughout the programme. We are incredibly proud of all they achieved!
