Autism Class - The Phoenix Room

In September 2023, we proudly opened our first Autism Class in St. Patrick’s. This is a unique setting within our school, designed as a small, nurturing class with three students, allowing for highly individualised support and care.

The class was established in close consultation with the NCSE, NEPS, and the Autism Good Practice Guidelines, ensuring that it reflects best practice and meets the needs of our pupils in a meaningful and supportive way.

This development marks an important step in our ongoing commitment to inclusion. It supports our vision of creating a school environment where every child feels valued, supported, and able to reach their full potential. We are proud to continue building a stronger sense of belonging and inclusion across our entire school community.
